Schools in Waunakee, Wisconsin, fall under the jurisdiction of the Waunakee Community School District. At the elementary level, parents have the option of sending their children to Arboretum Elementary School, Heritage Elementary, and Prairie Elementary School. For grades 5-6, students attend Waunakee Intermediate School before completing middle school at Waunakee Community Middle School. From there, students attend Waunakee High School.
